3316977 - saphostctrl executed on STANDBY host of HADR with option -function ListDatabaseMetrics fails - SRS SAP

Symptom

  • When executing saphostctrl with function "ListDatabaseMetrics" on STANDBY host, the command returns a message as if the command is executed on the PRIMARY host:

        [PID 28365] 0: <prim_ip_address>:0 [PID 28365] RAW [PID 28365] (0-2-3-0-16)
        [PID 28365] NiIBindLocalCheck: SiBind failed (sirc=7;99-Cannot assign requested address <prim_ip_address>)
        [PID 28365] NiLocalCheck: address <prim_ip_address> is not local
        [PID 28365] <prim_host_name> is not a local hostname
