3317613 - Turning the Position Management tool off and on again - Employee Central

We want to turn the Position Management tool off since we will not be using it anymore and turn on again.

• If position management is turned off will position data be deleted?

No, the data will not be deleted.

• If we turn the position management on again will it be possible to see the previous position data?

We do not recommend switching position management off and then on again, as it is likely that the position data in the employee profile become inconsistent due to invalid references in the meantime.

• On the employee profile data will we be able to be see the position data in the jobInfo history after turning the position function again?

The employee profile data will still be available in the jobInfo history after turning the position function back on.
