You would like to understand how to assign an Attachment Type for your Cases.
Environment
SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
Resolution
Before you can assign the Attachment Types to your cases, you need to follow the steps below to create the attachment types:
- Navigate to your user profile on the top-right corner of your screen.
- Click Settings.
- Navigate to All Settings tab.
- Under Data Administration, click Attachment Types.
- Click +.
- Here, you can add the type and a corresponding description.
Now, in order to assign the attachment types, you can follow the steps below:
- From Attachment Types, navigate to Attachment Types Assignment.
- In the Business Services section, search for Case.
- Select the desired types.
- Click Save.
