3318486 - ERROR: This X.509 Certificate was already registered to the integration Employee Central Payroll. Please upload a different one or cancel the certificate mapping

You are trying to import the public certificate in Successfactors to complete the connection with your ECP instance and you are getting the error message below:

This X.509 Certificate was already registered to the integration Employee Central Payroll. Please upload a different one or cancel the certificate mapping

• Security Center
• Employee Central Payroll (ECC)

1. Download and save the certificate from ECP (.cert file)
2. Log into your SuccessFactors instance
3. Go to Security Center
4. Click on X.509 Public Certificate Mapping
5. Click on Add
6. Select Employee Central Payroll in the field Integration Name
7. Upload the certificate and provide a Login User
8. Once you click in Save, receive the error message

This certificate has already been imported in another instance

If you are working with multiple instances you may have already imported the certificate on other instance, in this case you need to remove the certificate from the undesired instance and import and in desired one.
