Symptom
You wish to find out why Integration Center is not putting the right timestamp in SFTP output filename and learn how to fix this.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Cause
Expected behavior.
For outbound integrations, the SFTP filename calculation is based on the following settings:
- It first prioritizes the ICD timezone field;
- If that is not available, it uses the Tenant Preferred Timezone from Platform Feature Settings;
- If neither of these options is available, it defaults to the UTC timezone;
Resolution
If you wish to change the ICD file:
- Open the integration > click on Save > click on Export Integration Definition;
- Open the ICD file and set the "timeZone" field as desired (e.g. "timeZone" : "GMT+08:00", );
- Import the ICD file to create a new integration;
If you wish to change the Tenant Preferred Timezone, you just need to go to Platform Feature Settings and change it as desired;
NOTE: For inbound integrations, currently the engine always checks the SFTP file in the UTC timezone. As this may lead to confusion, our Development team is currently working to incorporate Tenant Preferred Timezone and ICD Preferred Timezone for inbound integrations as well (our internal reference is SFINT-18650).
