3319467 - MDF Portlet used for vacation is not appearing in the People Profile

Symptom

  • Custom MDF portlet created to vacation is not appearing in the People Profile, and the users has permission and are in the target population.

  • Customer has given access to view the custom portlet for vacation, however, the portlet is not appearing in UI.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee Profile
  2. Try to see the portlet in the Profile of user
  3. The portlet is not appearing

Cause

Customer should not use the rule "EC_FERIAS_EFFECTIVE_DATE" once it modify the effective start date. This rule configuration is not supported and will create data issues. 

Resolution

In case the customer is using the rule "EC_FERIAS_EFFECTIVE_DATE" and cannot see the portlet/data for the users, the path of solution is remove the rule, and if the issue persist contact SAP Support.
