3319583 - Error in AIF: Object <Object Name> could not be locked; message cannot be processed

Symptom

AIF messages are being processed by using serialization. In transaction /AIF/ERR, the message failed with error like:

  • Object <Object Name> could not be locked; message cannot be processed

Typically, in case of central finance, when processing message under interface /FINCF/AC_DOC/2, error below is observed:

  • Object ECFIN_REF_DOC could not be locked; message cannot be processed
