3319587 - System is not displaying all FTE Fraction Digits - Employee Central

Symptom

Not all Fraction Digits configured are being shown within employee profile.

In Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo > FTE > Details number 4 is configured as Maximum Faction Digits:

In employee Job Information only one digit is being shown:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to employee profile > Job Information;
  2. Check the FTE value has less digits than it is configured in Manage Business Configuration.

Cause

Option "Show Trailing Zeros" is set as "No" in Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo > FTE > Details.

Resolution

  1. Go to BCUI > Job Information;
  2. Find FTE field > Click on details;
  3. Set the "Show Trailing Zeros" field to "Yes".

After enabling this configuration, FTE standard weekly hours field will display the number of digits you have configured. Please check the guide Calculating FTE | SAP Help Portal for further reference.

Note:

In case the FTE is not an exact number, the default decimal rounding will respect the principle of bankers rounding. This means that the FTE value will be rounded and when the lasts decimal digits is a zero, they will not be displayed unless you set "Show Trailing Zeros" to "Yes".
