3319742 - Why Contracts with Validity in the past are not automatically closed

You want to know why the contracts are not closed automatically

For list of effected  Contracts  follow  below steps:

 Go to Sourcing and contracting work center

 Go to contracts view

 In this OWL view

 Click on advanced filter

 status "Released"

 Valid On choose <=  Previous day's date

 You shall see contracts who's validity To is on or before Previous day's date

The auto close functionality of contract works when the released value is lesser than the target value.

This is the desired behavior and we intend to not change this as this might affect other customers.

So please manually close the contracts in the UI.
