3319747 - [CE2302]Extended data source and custom fields don't show up in the PP output forms in Adobe LiveCycle Designer

You want to extend the standard PP output forms (Manufacturing Order Component List (PP_MOR_COMPONENT_LIST), Manufacturing Order Data List (PP_MOR_DATA_LIST) and Manufacturing Order Pick List (PP_MOR_PICK_LIST)) by either adding custom fields or extending the data source with standard fields.
You have followed all the procedures described in Overall Procedure for Extending Form Templates.
However, after downloading the form template and opening it in the Adobe LiveCycle Designer, you find the new fields not showing up in the form template.

Whenever you download a form (SAP standard or custom form) the ZIP file contains the current version of the layout (.xdp) and the interface (.xsd). The new fields are contained in the interface only and should be updated into the layout. The LiveCycle Designer will automatically check if the interface is up to date when you load the form and asks you whether it should be updated, if the "Embed XML Schema" checkbox is not set for the form.
However, in CE2302, the checkbox is set in the SAP standard forms by default by mistake. As a result, the connection between the layout and interface will not update automatically and the new fields will not show up in the layout.

The mistake will be corrected with the next CE2308 release.

Before that, you can make the update and clear the "Embed XML Schema" checkbox for the form manually in the Adobe LiveCycle Designer with the following steps:

1. Switch to the tab "Data View".
2. Right-Click on the root node and select "Connection Properties...".
3. Choose "Next".
4. Clear the "Embed XML Schema" checkbox.
5. Select the downloaded XML Schema File and choose "Finish".
