3319781 - How to Set the 'Requestor' Field as Mandatory in a Manual Purchase Request

Requirement to make the ‘Requestor’ field mandatory for Manual Purchase Requests.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Requests (Manual) view.
3. Select one of the Purchase Requests.
4. Click on Edit button.
5. Navigate to Items tab, Delivery sub tab, the field 'Requestor' here cannot be set as mandatory in Adaptation mode.

The 'Requester' field cannot be made mandatory in the View all screen or Items → Delivery subtab.
The 'Requestor' field can be made mandatory in the Basic View of the Purchase Request.

By following the steps mentioned below, the 'Requestor' field can be made mandatory in the Basic View.

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Requests (Manual) View.
3. Select All Purchase Requests in drop-down.
4. Select New Purchase Request.
5. Access Key User Settings and start Adaptation Mode.
6. Open Involved Parties in right side window.
7. Right click the field "Requester".
8. Select field Set Mandatory.
9. Save and Publish Changes.
