3320080 - Employee Type doesn't appear for some employees in Download Preview Users

Employee Type values do not appear for some users in Download Preview User.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. In Learning Administration > Menu
2. Manage User Learning > Assignment Profiles
3. Search a specific Assignment Profile >
4. Click to edit >
5. While managing the AP rules click "Download Preview Rules"

The file generated from "Download Preview Users" feature will retrieve the Description for some records (e.g. Employee Type, Job Code).

Example: If the Description of the Employee Type record of ID "Active" is empty, when downloading the file from "Download Preview Users" the learning administrator will see the column for Employee Type record empty for all users using "Active" Employee Type ID.

Add Description values to the required records in Learning Administration. If the data is managed in EC/BizX, ensure it's correctly mapped in connectors configuration and it's coming in the input file.

Example:

For Employee Types records: In Learning Administration > Menu > References > People Management > Employee Types > search the required type and edit the record manually to add a description.

If the users' data is managed in BizX/EC, ensure that the EMP_TYP_DESC (for this example) is correctly mapped based on the current user connector settings in use and that this value (description) is sent to Learning via input file.
