SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3320209 - Error: "SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: No error; $message$=no conversion rates provider in family 'currency' with the method 'xxx' has been registered" happened when data preview in HANA Studio

Symptom

When you data preview, or running SELECT query on a calculation view which involves currency conversion, fails with below error:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: No error; $message$=no conversion rates provider in family 'currency' with the method 'xxx' has been registered

But running same SQL in dbacockpit from application side works as normal.
