3320488 - Error message with Access Method M: Exception '' in attribute '' object type '' is not valid

A Spool Request should be sent as an e-mail.

For this purpose, an Output Device with Access Method M has been prepared in Transaction SPAD.

However, the sending of the Spool (as an e-mail) fails. In Transaction SP01, the status of the Spool is "Error" / "Incorrect (Error Sending Data)".

The events of this Spool show the messages "Cannot find e-mail address" and "Could not pass request to host spool system".

Finally, when replicating the issue while a Level-2 Spool Workprocess trace is enabled, the trace file of the Spool Workprocess contains similar entries like these:
