3320688 - Datasphere SFTP connectivity error

Getting the error below while validating an SFTP connection:

Connection "XXX" couldn’t be established.

- Data flows can't be used because of errors in the connection.
- Remote tables are not supported.

Data Flows: Cause: Possible causes of error: Detailed error message (xxxxx: scc proxy error - connection to host:port [xxxxx] failed with status: network unreachable) Code:1103002

SAP Datasphere

Validate the connection.

1. In connection details, option 'derive virtual host and port from connection details' is used, however virtual host and port are not same as internal host and port.
2. If Cloud Connector is used for on-premise connection, the Cloud Connector host IP address has not been added to the Datasphere IP allowlist

Please note that if you are using option 'derive virtual host and port from connection details', you need to make sure that host and port details used in connection should match the virtual host and port in cloud connector. Please either correct the virtual host and port in cloud connector configuration to match the host details used in connection in SAP Datasphere. Else enter virtual host and port details manually in connection dialogue.
2. Add the cloud connector host external public IP address to Trusted Cloud Connector IPs in Datasphere. See Add IP address to IP Allowlist
