Symptom
It is found that the removal of transported objects cannot be facilitated via transport in SAP Datasphere. This entails that when objects are deleted from the source Datasphere tenant, the corresponding objects within the target Datasphere tenant cannot be concurrently deleted using the transport mechanism.
Environment
SAP Datasphere
Reproducing the Issue
- Delete an object in source Datasphere tenant.
- Find that the corresponding objects within the target Datasphere tenant cannot be concurrently deleted using the transport mechanism.
Cause
- The deletion on the source tenant does not impact the target tenant, even if users transport again.
- So far, it requires manual deletion of the transported objects in the target SAP Datasphere tenant. When attempting to delete any content manually, a message pops up for the user, asking whether the content should be deleted. The process only continues if the user clicks 'Yes'.
