3320709 - Error: "Cannot delete KSL. It's set as the reference GC amount field of &" occurs when creating a Reconciliation case.

Symptom

When creating a case in app Define Reconciliation cases, there is an issue: " Cannot delete KSL. It's set as the reference GC amount field of xxxx"

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open app Define Reconciliation cases

2. Create Reconciliation case ->  click "Save"

An error pops up:  "Cannot delete KSL. It's set as the reference GC amount field of ZVAFL"

Cause

Ensure there are no entries for the same reconciliation cases in the configuration before creating or importing cases, regardless of whether they are transported or manually created. The configuration should not exist prior to the creation of master data.

Create the Reconciliation case first, then proceed to create configuration in SSCUI 103560 Activate Reconciliation Close Process.

Alternatively, data can be exported from the source system and imported into the target system to avoid creating it from scratch in the target system.

Resolution

1.Remove it from the configuration SSCUI 103560  Activate Reconciliation Close Process and try it again.

2.If the Reconciliation case exists in Q system, export it and import into P system.
