3321522 - 500 SAP Internal Server Error while uploading Fixed Asset file in Migration of Accounting Transaction Data

You are trying to perform the Migration of Fixed Asset from the Migration of Accounting Transaction Data activity, upon uploading the Fixed Asset File, you get 500 SAP internal Server Error.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Search for the activity Migration of Accounting Transaction Data.
4. Click Migrate accounting transaction data using the migration tool.
5. Click Create Unit.
6. Enter the details and select company.
7. Click Create.
8. Now upload the File for the Fixed Asset "XYZ.xml" (Where XYZ represents the file name).
9. It will through the 500 Internal Server error.

A few fields might be having some notes or comments.

You can open the file in the excel and try to check for notes if any added in any of the filed, if note is added it will be displayed as shown below:

Please remove the notes/comments, save the file and try to upload the file, it should go through.
