3321652 - Error with en_US locale is enabled before migration of data from Job Description Manager to Job Profile Builder is initiated. (Check ID: IsenUSLocaleEnabledCheck) - Job Description Manager

When running the checks for Job Description Manager application in Admin Center > Check Tool, issue(s) for the check "IsenUSLocaleEnabledCheck" are found.

SAP SuccessFactors Job Description Manager

Job Profile Builder validates if the en_US locale is enabled. A disabled en_US locale will cause a migration failure. 

Enable English US locale in your instance to avoid a migration failure. Go to Admin Center > Manage Languages, and enable the English US locale (en_US).

JDM does not have any concept of locales, so when Families & Roles are created in JDM, the locale information used in the instance when data is created (instance default language) is not stored in database. Thus, when JPB migration is executed, since the primary locale information is not saved on JDM, the system migrates the data to JPB in English US locale, by default. Once the migration job is completed successfully with no post migration checks, you can disable it again and use another default language. 

Example: Instance has French (fr_FR) as default locale and JDM data is primarily created with labels in French, after migration, JPB data will show French label in English US locale. Therefore, make sure you enter translations for the JDM entities for English US before migrating the data to JPB, as English US is the default language for migrating data to JPB.
