Symptom

  • The ASE servers is seemingly hung. 
  • Everything seems to have come to a halt.
  • The only abnormal message in the ASE log:
    Increase the config parameter 'number of open objects' to avoid descriptor reuse. Reuse may result in performance degradation.
  • What can be done to figure out why this is happening?
