3321711 - Business Process Error for Internal Hire - Onboarding

1. Internal hire is initiated but enter Business Process tile with error
2. Error: jobInfo : EventReasonValue for Object eventReason is not a consistent value with the associated Object Country/Region with value USA
3. When I initiate an internal hire, the Event Reason doesn’t match the selected Country/Region, and the process fails with a Business Process error.
4. The Business Process (BPE) tile shows errors during internal hire onboarding because the Event Reason is inconsistent with our country/region configuration.
5. Internal hire onboarding can’t start (or stalls) due to misaligned Event Reason–to–Country/Region mappings in our setup.
6. Employees on Leave of Absence are especially impacted—the system flags inconsistent Event Reasons for their associated Country/Region and blocks processing.
7. Overall, our Event Reason configurations aren’t aligned to Country/Region rules, causing repeated errors and preventing smooth internal hire onboarding.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Event Reason Value is not available in manage data > Country/Region > USA (could be another country)
2. Event Reason is not passed successfully from RCM. Event Reason is mandatory at the  time of initiation

1. Navigate to Manage Data > Country/Region > USA (or whatever country is listed in error message)
2. Click Take Action
3. Make Correction
4. Add Event Reason Value under Event Reason section
5. Save
6. Once added, please restart the error from Business Process tile
