3321746 - Error with Missing Job Description Manager data reference in the mapping entity. (Check ID: JDMIdNotPresentInMapping) - Job Profile Builder

Symptom

When running the Check Tool for Job Profile Builder, there are issues for the "JDMIdNotPresentInMapping" check.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder
  • SAP SuccessFactors Job Description Manager

Cause

  • The Job Profile Builder migration has not been completed
  • A translation is not populated for English US
  • A translation is not populated for an enabled language pack
  • Translations exist for disabled language packs
  • Invalid behaviors need to be removed from competencies

Resolution

The Job Profile Builder migration has not been completed

If the migration from Job Description Manager to Job Profile Builder has not been completed, issues for JDMIdNotPresentInMapping are expected since the mapping hasn't been initiated. Please follow the steps in 2276692 - Best Practices on Job Description Manager to Job Profile Builder Migration.

A translation is not populated for English US

  1. English US is required in order for the migration to complete successfully and can be corrected following the below steps:
  2. Log in to system
  3. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Exporting Your Job Profile Data Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export and select different families and roles entities
  4. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
  5. Locate the MDF Data Export job and select View Details
  6. Click on Download Status to download the file
  7. Locate the name.en_US column
  8. Populate translation values > Save
  9. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Importing New Job Profile Content Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export

A translation is not populated for an enabled language pack

  1. If there are multiple languages enabled, each one needs to have a translation populated. If any translations are empty for a system language, the migration job will fail. The steps to review and correct this are:
  7. Review column L (createdLocale) e.g., en_GB
  8. Compare column L to the respective language name column e.g., name.en_GB
  9. Populate translation values in the language name column > Save
  10. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Importing New Job Profile Content Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export

Translations exist for disabled language packs

If a language pack was disabled, but competency translations were entered for that language, the system will flag the competencies. The translations will need to be removed in Provisioning for the impacted competencies.

As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. Please engage a Certified Partner to make the corrections. If you don't have a Certified Partner, you can look for one using 2149831 - SAP Professional Services / SAP Certified Partner / SAP Account Management Team [SuccessFactors Cloud].
