Symptom
JDM old to new sync job is failing with post migration check failureWhen reviewing the Job Profile Builder Checks, there are issues for the "JDMIdNotPresentInMapping" check.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder
- SAP SuccessFactors Job Description Manager
Cause
- The Job Profile Builder migration has not been completed
- Roles are not tied to a family
- Missing translations for enabled language packs on JPB entities (family, role, library, category, competency or behavior)
- Translations exist for English Debug or disabled language pack
- Competencies tied to invalid behaviors
Resolution
Roles are not tied to a family
If a role is not associated to a family, roles cannot be migrated. You can resolve this issue by reviewing KBA 3498144 - Error with Roles that have no family associated (Check ID: InvalidRolesWithNegativeFamilyIdValidation) - Data Validation for Attributes, Families, and Roles.
Missing translations for enabled language packs
If multiple languages are enabled, each one needs a translation including default locale. You can follow the below steps to correct any inconsistencies for translations:
- Log in to SuccessFactors
- Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Exporting Your Job Profile Data Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export and select different families and roles entities
- Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
- Locate the MDF Data Export job and select View Details
- Click on Download Status to download the file
- Compare column L to the respective language name column e.g., name.en_GB
- Populate translation values in all language name column > Save
- Repeat these steps for each impacted entity (family, role, library, category, competency or behavior)
- Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Importing New Job Profile Content Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export
