3322015 - msgsend fails in SP04 PL03 and SP04 PL04 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The msgsend() function is used to send a message to IBM MQ
  • The failures started happening after upgrading to SP04 PL03 and worked in a previous release
  • Message received:
    Messaging services API call failed. Operation 'um_get_ep_maxmsglen'.
Error received from the messaging provider.
        MQ API call failed with reason code 'Reason code not mapped' (2540)
