3322368 - Error Message: "Labor resource assignment mandatory for project time recording on DD.MM.YYYY."

When trying to approve time recording for Employee ABC the following error occurs "Labor resource assignment mandatory for project time recording on DD.MM.YYYY."

1. Go to the Project Team work center.
2. Access the Edit Time Sheet view under the Common Tasks section.
3. Select the Employee ABC and select the Approve option.
4. You receive an error message "Labor resource assignment mandatory for project time recording on DD.MM.YYYY."

It is not possible to post employee times when there is no Resource maintained. Labor resource assignment is required for Project Time Recording to calculate the project's internal costs based on labor resource cost rates.

1. In the Time Administration work center, in the Regular Tasks view, under Time Valuations, click Run Day Closure for One Employee.
2. Specify the Employee ABC.
3. Select the action Select Start Time Valuation
4. Click Run to specify the valuation start date.

Note: You can select the Include Backdated Labor Resource Changes checkbox to include backdated changes to assignments to a labor resource for the valuation run.
