3322860 - Error message due to stuck queue: "No authorization for warehouse request or delivery and activity "Add or C" S/4HANA Cloud


Delivery is currently not showing up as a delivery for the warehouse on the EWM side but it shows distributed on the LE side.

Stuck queue with error: "No authorization for warehouse request or delivery and activity "Add or C" occurs for the delivery. 




The root cause of the issue is a hanging queue due to missing EWM write authorization from the user ID that is being used. 


  • Short-Term solution to resolve and prevent similar issues: 

Create a new Z-Role with business catalog SAP_SCM_BC_EWM_INTF_I_PC and assign this to the user that is having the issue. (= provides authorization to perform Background logic in EWM) – DO NOT set this role to "Read only".

Alternatively, you can assign other EWM catalogs like the Outbound Processing or Warehouse Monitor catalog or the complete Warehouse Clerk EWM role for the user that had this issue, however, it's something you need to check the preference for the user.

  • Short-Term solution to resolve the hanging queue:

After adding the business catalog described above to the user, please try to reprocess the stuck queue on Warehouse Monitor APP on your own.  In case you encounter difficulties reprocessing the stuck queue, please raise a ticket to SAP to component SCM-EWM-AUT-2CL referring to it.
