3323388 - How to enable the download dialog when opening AO workbooks from BI Launchpad (Chrome or Edge browser)

When click to view an SAP Analysis for Office workbook in BI Launchpad, the workbook is opened directly without the download dialog.

You want to be able to choose the launcher file's location instead of opening it directly.

• SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

1. Open BI Launchpad

2. Right click on a file

3. Select "View"

- The Analysis for Office report is launched automatically

If using Google Chrome Browser, go to:

Settings > Downloads > Enable option: "Ask where to save each file before downloading"

If using Microsoft Edge browser go to:

Settings > Downloads > Enable option: "Ask me what to do with each download"

The next time you open BI Launchpad select "view" on a workbook, the following pop-up will appear.

Then you can choose the .sapaox file location and save it instead of opening it directly.
