3323809 - Purchase Order Does not Appear When you Preview the Data Source Purchase Order Items with Extended Tracking Details

You have created a purchase order and sent to supplier. However when you check the data source Purchase Order Items with Extended Tracking Details, purchase order does not appear.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center
2. Go to Design Reports view
3. Select the Purchase Order History report
4. Select the relevant purchase order
5. No records available

The report Purchase Order History is based on data source Purchase Order Items with Extended Tracking Details.

There is a technical limitation which restricts few parameters and because of which records are getting filtered out. Selection parameter enhanced based on below status :

1.   All purchase orders without follow-up documents  
2.   Item delivery status - Not delivered  
3.   Item invoicing status - Not Started   
4.   Item invoicing status - Not Relevant

In the purchase order Goods and Services Receipt Expected check box is not selected and order was just sent to the supplier. So the delivery status is Not Relevant and Invoicing Status in Not Started. Hence the purchase order does not show in the report or neither in the data source.

There is a technical limitation which restricts few parameters and because of which records are getting filtered out. There is a fallback selection at data source level for purchase order with status 'Item delivery status not delivered'. Its not possible to remove filter from data source level as it will have an impact on other reports using the same data source. This is the current system behaviour.
