3324031 - Set Postal Address field as Mandatory is not working as expected


You are trying to set Postal Address field as Mandatory under Supplier work center, however field is not set as Mandatory.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Supplier Base work center
  2. Go to Suppliers
  3. Open any suppliers
  4. Click on View All
  5. Navigate to General Tab -> Main Address
  6. You see Region is mandatory field, however when you click on Additional Fields link and look for the Region field it is not mandatory
  7. However when you perform the same steps in the adaptation mode it displays the Region field as mandatory. 


The behavior seems to be standard, means main address screen fields are dynamic with respect to country selected.


  1. Ex: For postal addresses in France the "state" or "region" is not required, therefore our address UI for France the field is not mandatory.
  2. Even if you set the field as mandatory, it will not display as mandatory, however when you enter value to it, it will display it as Mandatory field as shown in the screenshot


  1. Due to technical restriction, it is not possible to make the field mandatory via UI adaptation/personalization.
  2. It will be possible to make the field mandatory via SDK / Cloud Application Studio by performing additional validations on SAVE.
