You notice the Signature images of an incoming e-mail was added as an attachment once the Ticket is created in C4C.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Send an e-mail to C4C with an inline image as signature.
- Go to Tickets Work center.
- Open Ticket 123 (where 123 represent the ticket created by the e-mail received).
- Go to the Interactions Tab.
- See the E-mail that originated the Ticket has an attachment.
- Open the attachment.
- You will see the signature inline image was added as an attachment 'noname' once the E-mail arrives at C4C.
Cause
When the E-mail with inline images is sent via Outlook, it consist of base64 content in <img> tag and the system considers it as attachment. Hence it is shown as both inline image and attachment in the e-mail.
