3324396 - Error F5061 is not raised for minor differences

Symptom

You expect error message F5061 "Balance in local currency in too large for automatic adjustment" to be raised if the document is not balancing to 0 due to a minor amount such as 0,01 cent or 1 JPY (no decimals, other currencies also apply). Tolerances maintained in OBA0, OBA3, OBA4 also do not work as expected.
