3324470 - How to ensure that required Fiori APPs will be available for your user

Symptom

You are using advanced ATP in a S/4 HANA Cloud System Environment. 
After logging on to your Fiori, you are facing the issue, that required Fiori Apps are not visible for you.
Also an explicit search via Apps Finder or Search Field option will not be successful, the required apps are not available.

Environment

  • Advanced ATP
  • SAP S/4 HANA Cloud 
  • SAP S/4 HANA

Reproducing the Issue

  • Logon to your Fiori Launchpad.
  • Relevant Fiori Apps, required for your work, are not visible in your user specific Home Area.
  • They can also not be found via an explicit Fiori Apps Search.

Cause

This symptom might occur, if one of the following prerequisites are missing: 

  1. The License Requirement is not met. 
  2. Relevant Business Roles are not assigned to your Business User-ID
  3. The Business Role might not contain the relevant Business Catalogues.  

Resolution

1. Ensure that License Requirement is fulfilled

2. Ensure that relevant Relevant Business Roles are assigned to your Business User-ID

  • Please find required Business Roles in the Fiori Apps Library
    • Open Fiori Apps Library https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com
    • Search for your App with its name or ID
    • Choose your solution SAP Solution and Product Version
    • Press Tab "Implementation Information"
    • Open section "Configuration"
    • Check Section "Business Role(s)" 

  • Please make sure, that your user is assigned to this role 
    • Fiori App "Maintain Business Role"
    • Select relevant Business Role
    • Press Tab "Assigned Users"

  • General advice:
    • Working with aATP typically requires the assignment of the following Business Roles:
      • SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP            (SALES)
      • SAP_BR_ORDER_FULFILLMNT_MNGR     (AATP)
      • SAP_BR_ORDER_FULFILLMNT_SPCLST   (AATP)
      • SAP_BR_PRODMASTER_SPECIALIST       (ABC Product Substitution)

3. Ensure that all relevant Business Catalogues are assigned to your Business Role

  • SAP Standard Business Roles are delivered with the relevant Business Catalog Assignment
    • This assignment can be displayed in Fiori App "Maintain Business Roles". 
    • It can also be changed and adjusted to customer specific requirements. 
    • If such adjustments are required, it is recommended to copy delivered reference values to entries in your own name space (Z*)

  • Please ensure, that all apps require a certain Business Catalog assignment, which is documented in the details of the Fiori Apps Library. 
    • Open Fiori Apps Library https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com
    • Search for your App
    • Choose your solution SAP Solution and Product Version
    • Press Tab "Implementation Information"
    • Open section "Configuration"
    • Check section "Business Catalog(s)"
