3324472 - java.io.FileNotFoundException: DATA/<Package>-<n>.STR

Symptom

During the database import phase of parallel export/import with R3load there are several "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error messages for the <package>-<n>.STR files of cluster packages (like SAPCDCLS-1, SAPAABLG, SAPEDI40-1, SAPRFBLG..)  in the import_monitor.log.

For example:

ERROR: <timestamp>com.sap.inst.migmon.LoadTask run
Loading of 'SAPCDCLS-1' import package is interrupted with exception.
java.io.FileNotFoundException: DATA/SAPCDCLS-1.STR
        at com.sap.inst.migmon.LoadTask.buildTaskFileCommand(LoadTask.java:520)
        at com.sap.inst.migmon.LoadTask.processPackage(LoadTask.java:289)
        at com.sap.inst.migmon.LoadTask.run(LoadTask.java:208)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:836)
        at com.sap.inst.lib.util.ThreadDispatcher$ThreadWrapper.run(ThreadDispatcher.java:113)

=================================

In additon, you recognize the following details:

  1. - If you search for the described <package>-<n>.STR files by the error messages it turns out that only the <package>-<n>.STR.logical files exist.
  2. - The export_monitor_cmd.properties file shows that during the export "decluster=true" option was used.
  3. - The import_monitor_cmd.properties file describes that during the import "collectLogicalPackages=false" option was used instead of "collectLogicalPackages=true".
