• Not possible to make Change Number Required for BOM Maintenance in S/4HANA Cloud
• The Change Number field in the Maintain Bill Of Material , Create Bill of Material or Change Bill of Material is optional instead of required in S/4HANA Cloud
• Is The On-Premise Authorization object C_STUE_NOH 'authorization to change BOMs without a change number' as outlined in the note 35100 available in S/4HANA Cloud ?

Access the Maintain Bill Of Material , Create Bill of Material or Change Bill of Material  app

The Role SAP_BR_BOM_ENGINEER  in S/4HANA Cloud does not currently include the authorization object C_STUE_NOH as a restriction type.

 As a result , It is not possible in S4HANA Cloud to set change number to be a required input for BOM Maintenance Currently.

 There is no Expert Configuration available for this or a workaround
