3325401 - Planned quantity and requirement quantity are different for PIRs

When comparing the value for planned quantity field in Change PIRs app and comparing with the value for requirement quantity field in Monitor Stock / Requirements List (MD04) app, you can see that the values are different.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

1. Go to Monitor Stock / Requirements List (MD04) app
2. Check the requirement quantity
3. Go to Change PIRs app 
4. Check the planned quantity
5. The values are different 

Standard system behavior.

PIRs can be consumed by different requirements.

For example, if you have a PIR of 100 and you have a sales order of 20 within the consumption period, you will only see 80 for the PIR in Monitor Stock / Requirements List (MD04) app, while you will still see the total quantity in Change PIRs.

The quantity will only be reduced in Change PIRs when you post a goods issue.

You can check in Change PIRs app -> 'Menu -> Environment -> Total Requirements', if the PIRs are being consumed by a requirement.
