3325957 - "Remark" text not editable in Maintenance Order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

"Remark" text under tab "Materials" of "Operation Data" in Maintenance Order not editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the App 'Change Maintenance Order'.
  2. Input Maintenance Order number.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Navigate to 'Operation Data' tab .
  5. Unable to maintain 'Remark' text under tab 'Materials'.

Cause

  • The additional material long text fields (e.g. remark) are only editable for item lines, which includes data which leads to a Purchase Requisition (e.g. non-stock material).
  • The material additional long text fields are not available for stock-material.
  • The material additional long text fields have the intention to copy the long text to the respective long text fields in the corresponding Purchase Requisition.
  • Due to no PR for stock-material, the fields are not editable.

Resolution

System works as designed.
