3326090 - E-Mail Address created as Hyperlink is not working in Notes Type Field

Symptom

When creating an E-Mail Address as Hyperlink in Notes Type field, it is not working.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to a Notes Type field
  2. Use Functionality "Insert Hyperlink"
  3. Enter details as outlined in screenshot above
  4. Save
  5. You can see that the E-Mail address is not created as hyperlink

Cause

Resolution

The E-Mail Address type extension field should be used for this functionality
