3326439 - Unable to Finish Change Project Due to Message: Not Possible to Finalize Scope Changes; Some Decisions would Cause Inconsistencies in Fine-Tuning Settings while Enabling Employee Self Service for an Employee

You are unable to finish a change project. You see the following system message: Finish Project:

It is not possible to finalize your scope changes; some of your decisions would cause inconsistencies in your fine-tuning settings. Before continuing with your project, you must either reverse the decisions causing inconsistencies and then click Finish again or click Cancel to cancel your changes entirely while Enabling Employee Self Service Leave request for an Employee

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Click on Implementation Project overview.
3. Select the Change Project: approval process for Contracts.
4. Click on Next until step 4
5. Review Status: Do you want your employees to submit leave requests using employee self-service?
6. Click on Accept preselected Answers.
7. Enter Title
8. Click on Finish
9. Finish Project: It is not possible to finalize your scope changes; some of your decisions would cause inconsistencies in your fine-tuning settings. Before continuing with your project, you must either reverse the decisions causing inconsistencies and then click Finish again or click Cancel to cancel your changes entirely.

This could be because these previously used Employee time Item types were maintained however later on user tried to remove mentioned time types and Scoping "Do you want your employees to submit leave requests using employee self-service?" checking the Restriction and Employee time types and due to mismatch, error occurs.

 You can add the Time types by following the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter
2. Go to Overview workcenter 
3. Search for Time-types 
4. Select Maintain Employee Time Types 
5. Now add the Time types that you would prefer
