Under what circumstances the Sender is "System System"?

The Sender is "System System" when the email is sent from the SuccessFactors system automatically.

For status-triggered emails, the Sender is the system and not the user who changed the application status.

How to change First Name and Last name for the "System System ‎(v4admin)‎" user account?

This is an inactive account in the system, so please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Center > Employee Export to export the user data.
   • DO NOT check the "Valid Users only" box under Export Options.
2. Search for "v4admin" in the username field and select to edit the user.
3. Under "First Name" and "Last Name", change the data to show what you'd like to display.
   • DO NOT change the user status to "active".
4. Save the file.
5. Go to Admin Center > Import Employee Data to import the user data.
   • Follow this article 2618227 - Update Username of an Inactive User by Doing a Basic User Import to update an inactive user.

NOTE:

• v4admin is used for system processes across the entire SuccessFactors Environment and not only Recruiting. Please take this into consideration when changing the display name.
• We do not recommend you change the email address of this system user. If you want to change it, please review the KBA 2087468 - Emails Blocked or Not Delivered Due to Spam Filters, Spoofing, Bombing (mass mail), IP Address Allowlists as it may cause email delivery issues.
