3326842 - File name containing special characters changes after download - Recruiting Management

After download a file which name contains special characters (like ', &, etc.) from Recruiting attachment fields (resume, cover letter, etc.), the name of the downloaded file has been changed.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Upload to one of Recruiting attachment fields a file which name contains special characters. Ex.: CV'Test.docx
2. After the file has been uploaded, download it from the system
3. File will be download with a different name. Ex.: CV'Test.docx

File name shows as the HTML encoded name.

This behavior is due to security measures that need to be taken to replace and encode any potential active/malicious content in the attachment name and considered as expected when downloading attachments uploaded to Document Management System.
