3326900 - Hiring Manager is showing as "last modifier" in Employee Profile after Crossboarding from Recruiting - Onboarding

"Last update" user is showing as the candidate's manager and not the Hiring Recruiter who proceed with Crossboarding (from Recruiting to Employee Central - Employee Profile).

Cause 1: As per the current design, this is the expected behavior when "Enhanced Internal Hire" is disabled in Onboarding General Settings.

Cause 2: When the Enhanced Internal Hire is enabled, the Recruiter should be the user as last modifier, but there was a know Issue/Gap which Engineering team already fixed it.

Resolution for Cause 2: There was a Crossboarding Issue/Gap that Engineering worked to fix, which Employee profile was showing EC record updated by BPE service user name instead of the Recruiter.

It was fixed on Release 2311. However, if this behavior is still present, please open a ticket with Onboarding Support team, informing this KBA as reference.
