Symptom
- During very heavy insert activity, spids start queuing up to find free space in the database. This cause massive LIO and CPU consumption with large number of connection in "latch sleep".
- A feature to add a resource governor type to timeout spids sleeping/hanging in latch sleep can help ASE recover from above scenario.
- This timeout is configurable for how long a spid is allowed to wait/sleep in latch sleep before giving up.
