Symptom

When did you run "ALTER DATABASE UPGRADE PROCEDURE ON" for upgrade of SAP IQ server / implement of SAP IQ patch, *AA.log file has created.

File name

  • SAP IQ 16.0 : YYMMDDAA.log
  • SAP IQ 16.1 : YYMMDD_xxxxxxxx_AA.log
    If the start offset is greater than 4GB, It is also possible that the file will be named YYMMDD_xxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx_AA.log.

  2. Can I delete *AA.log file ?
