3327045 - System Displays Incorrect Buyer Responsible Name in Purchase Request Screen

You have changed the employee name of buyer responsible. However when you create a new purchase request, system shows the old name in the Purchase Request main screen.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to Purchase Requests view
3. Select the relevant Purchase Request
4. You can see Buyer Responsible appears with old name

The buyer responsible person name is pulled from the personnel administration work center. When you edit the personnel file of an employee under Personal Data tab, go to Biographical data, here you have maintained the first name and last name with old name. Hence system shows incorrect buyer responsible name in purchase request document.

1. You can follow the below steps to fix the problem;
2. Go to Personnel Administration work center
3. Go to Employees view
4. Select the relevant employee and select edit
5. Navigate to Personal Data tab and Biographical Data sub tab
6. Remove the latest entry which has old name
7. Select Add Row and enter the first and last name with updated details
8. Select Save and Close
