3327131 - Error "Cannot send a content-body with this verb-type" when logon EPM add-in with load balancer link

Symptom

  • After creating an EPM add-in connection with the load balancer URL, accessing EPM add-in failed with error message: Cannot send a content-body with this verb-type.
  • The accessing works with the direct server URL (bypass load balancer).
  • Below errors can be found in EPM add-in trace file Trace_xxxxx.glf.
    • |ERROR|OfficeWrappers|FPMXLClient.Office.ExcelApplication.CanExecuteCommand|---|||||VSTA_Main|System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A03EC): Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC
    • |ERROR|BPCProxy|FPMXLClient.BPCProxy.Common.Wcf.InterceptorChannelFactory`1+InterceptorRequestChannel.Request|---|||||VSTA_Main|System.Net.ProtocolViolationException: Cannot send a content-body with this verb-type.
    • |ERROR|BPCProxy|FPMXLClient.BPCProxy.Session.SessionServiceHelper.Logoff|---|||||VSTA_Main|System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature session shutdown or an internal server error.
