3327255 - Unable to export more than 250.000 cells to CSV file when using Live Universe connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

Symptom

  • The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):
  • You are using live connection to Universe and try to export data from a table to .csv file, however the end result will never go above 250.000 rows.
  • The same behavior/limitation does not occur when using acquired data.
  • Exporting table from Webi succeeds with all the rows exported.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.02.11
  • BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to SAC.
  2. Open story based on LDC connection.
  3. Select Export option.
  4. Pick CSV file type and scope All.
  5. Click Ok.
  6. Notice that in the exported files there are less lines than expected.
