3327637 - Error message in the 'Schedule Mass Creation of Production Version' app

When scheduling a job to create or migrate Production Versions, the job fails with the following error message:

“An error occurred. Please create an incident on component PP-PI-MD-PRV.”

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Schedule Mass Creation of Production Version app
2. Schedule a job with template Mass Creation of Production Version
3. The job is scheduled with the required parameters.
4. The field Production Version Name Prefix is maintained with no value or with only one character.
5. Error occurs: “An error occurred. Please create an incident on component PP-PI-MD-PRV.”

The Production Version Name Prefix field is incorrectly maintained. The system requires this prefix to contain exactly two characters. Providing no value or only one character triggers the error.

Maintain the Production Version Name Prefix with two characters.

This is a mandatory requirement for the successful execution of the job.
