3327654 - No State Available While Creating New Corporate or Private Account with Puerto Rico Country/Region

Symptom

You are trying to create new Corporate or Private Account with Puerto Rico Country/Region, main addresses are being created, however, this does not bring any state.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Account Management work center, New Corporate Account view.
  2. Fill Country/Region with PR - Puerto Rico.
  3. Then you will see there are no options available for State. 

Cause

SAP Business Bydesign follows the ISO standard. As per ISO noted, no Subdivision category (state) is available for country Puerto Rico. Hence no values are coming in state dropdowns.

Resolution

This is standard system behavior.

The available Subdivision category for a country can be found in https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#home by following:

  1. Select Country Code.
  2. Input the issued country code.
  3. Search.
  4. Open the search result.
