3327918 - Warning for Incorrect Value Source for Reference Object with Effective Dating FROM_Parent in Business Configuration

With the 1H 2023 Release warning has be added in Manage Business Configuration:

WNV: ECT-215462 Updates in Business Configuration 

When you use a Generic Object (GO) as the Reference Object of an HRIS custom field and the Effective Dating of the value source object is set to FROM_Parent, a warning message is displayed upon saving this configuration.

• Field "X" is referenced to Foundation object "Y" of Effective Dating “From Parent ”. The reference to the Foundation objects of Effective Dating "From Parent" is not supported and can lead to corruption of data in Employee Import.

For example:

• Field "custom-sthng1" is referenced to Foundation object "PayScalePayComponent" of Effective Dating “From Parent ”. The reference to the Foundation objects of Effective Dating "From Parent" is not supported and can lead to corruption of data in Employee Import.
