3328132 - Academic Title Displayed Following The Employee Name While Creating New Sales Order/Sales Report

You are trying to create new sales order/sales report, but while selecting Employee Responsible, you find the Academic Title shows following the employee name.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Order work center.
2. New Sales Order view.
3. Select any employee as Employee Responsible (e.g employee ABC).
4. You will see the Academic Title is displayed following the employee name (e.g ABC Master).

Name Format in General Business Partners activity under Business Configuration work center is not maintained.

You need to maintain Name Formats in General Business Partners activity under Business Configuration work center.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Search for activity General Business Partners and Open.
3. Maintain Name Formats.
4. Maintain Name Formats for the relevant Country/Region like First Name+Middle Name+Last Name without Academic Title.
5. Save.

If it still not works, you can verify if dummy change helps to resolve the issue as changes to Name Formats will not be used for existing names automatically.

Hence you can change the employee name temporarily and then change back which will trigger the Name Formats you maintained.
