3328261 - Output Device search returns wrong entries

Symptom

An end user makes a search for Output Devices via F4 search (or similar search mechanisms) in an SAP application.

The resulting list shows incorrect hits.

Furthermore, from a technical/Basis point of view, it can be noticed that if the search is made against the "Short Name" of the Output Device, then the resulting list will be correct.
